ESTIMATES

Estimates are very important part of planning for a move. For smaller moves, such as partial relocations, 1 or 2 bedroom apartments, can get an accurate estimate by providing our moving specialist with as much information about your shipment as possible. Moving specialist will take a very careful inventory of all items in everyroom of the apartment. These items are logged into our software and then will provide us with a size of customer's shipment. Based on the size of the load, and other services customers that may be required, such as:

• long walks,
• elevators,
• packing,
• unpacking,
• hoisting,
• prepping large and bulky articles,
• multiple stops.

All of these factors will be taken to consideration and a cost estimate will be provided.

Those cusotmers that are relocating larger residences, shuch as 3 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom homes or office for 8 or more desks and larger will be able to get an on site estimate (FAQ.8).

- Estimator will come to a place of residence or business facility and take on site inventory of the items. Estimator will log items in the form, which has a Table of Measurements. Eash item is assigned a size, the unusual and bulky items will be measured separately. The items requiring special care - large and fragile items will also be noted. The total size will help us determin the amount of movers and size of the truck required for the job, the amount of hours and materials will be used.  The estimate will be known as a "binding" or "written" meaning it was not done over the phone, but our rep was able to view all items. The Binding estimate is a guaranteeing the cost of the move. The company is able to add cost only in case the customer is asking movers to provide services that were not listed in the original estimate.

The example is customer was planning to pack all boxes themselves, however when movers arrive there is still packing required. The customer will be asked to sign a new form called "order for service".
